Public meetings of the RTL Board of Directors now more accessible

Longueuil, March 6, 2015 – In the spirit of openness and to ensure access to public meetings of its Board of Directors, the Réseau de transport  de  Longueuil  (RTL) invites residents of the Agglomération to stream Board meetings live on the RTL website at www.rtl-longueuil.qc.ca/diffusion.

Members of the public can also submit their questions, which will be addressed at the start of the meeting, by sending an email at any time before the end of the question period to affairespubliquesRTL@rtl-longueuil.qc.ca, indicating their name and city of residence.

Rendez-vous de la présidente

In addition, Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the introduction of the “Rendez vous de la présidente,” at which residents can meet with her and the Executive Director of the RTL to discuss issues related to public transit, mobility, and sustainable management. Following public Board of Directors meetings, residents can meet with the Chairman at the RTL’s head office.

“My goal is to open up the lines of communication with Longueuil residents in the interest of continuous improvement. As such, I look forward to hearing people’s comments and concerns, as well as their needs in relation to mobility,” Ms. Éthier explained.

Public meetings start at 5 p.m. at the RTL’s head office located at 1150 boulevard Marie Victorin, in Longueuil. The schedule of meetings for 2015 is as follows: March 12, April 2, May 7, June 4, July 8, September 3, October 1, November 5, and December 2.
