SkiBus a tremendous success
Close to 150 users in one weekend!
Longueuil, January 26, 2018 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is proud to announce that the SkiBus has been a great success with already record ridership after only its second weekend.
“We’re very pleased to report that users are lining up for the service. This year’s departure from the Longueuil terminal is most likely one of the reasons why the service is so popular. We now serve the Agglomération de Longueuil, as well as the island of Montréal and the entire metropolitan area,” pointed out Pierre Brodeur, Vice-Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
The SkiBus shuttle transported close to 150 customers on the weekend of January 20-21. Partner Ski Saint-Bruno is now offering a 50% discount on its day and evening lift tickets to skiers and snowboarders who use the shuttle.
In effect Saturdays and Sundays between January 6 and March 11, the SkiBus will also operate during spring break, from March 5 to 9. Remember, the SkiBus will depart from platform 41, wing F of the bus terminal at the Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke metro station. The first departure leaves Longueuil at 1:30 p.m. and the last return trip leaves Ski Saint-Bruno at 10 p.m. The bus will make a few stops along the way, including at the Saint-Hubert interchange on Route 116 and along the route in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.
