THE RTL'S MISSION
The RTL's mission is as follows: "To improve the quality of life of citizens in the territory served by the RTL by meeting their evolving transportation needs through the promotion and cost-effective operation of various quality and environmentally friendly public transportation means."

VALUES
Human resources are the corporation's intelligent force. The RTL's growth and the improvement of its processes can only be achieved with the active involvement of its employees and with the ongoing support and collaboration of its elected officials.

Respect for individuals. Teamwork, a team approach in resolving problems and customer focus require that each employee has the required openness and attitude, which means the ability to listen to the opinions of others and to show empathy towards people.

Rigour, perseverance and creativity. The RTL fulfils its mission by promoting a constructive partnership with the city of Longueuil and its employees, and by maximising the cost-effective use of resources and infrastructures.

MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY
The RTL's management philosophy is based on two fundamental principles: identifying trends and always focusing on the customer's needs.

The mission statement addresses the first principle and translates into the adoption of general objectives and action plans on a yearly basis.

As for the second principle, the RTL strives to meet the needs of its customers in an efficient and fairly priced manner. To this end, the approach is based on three main keys to success: mobilizing human resources, maximizing our processes, and measuring our actions.
