The first in Québec

The first bus boasting both a low floor and an articulated configuration, the Van Hool AG300 was delivered to the RTL in January 2002. A group representing the RTL's drivers as well as technical and maintenance personnel attended the vehicle's assembly and road tests, which allowed to correct certain deficiencies and make adjustments that were subsequently integrated to the other production buses scheduled for delivery in 2003. During these visits, Van Hool's representatives provided training that led to the implementation of a training program developed by the RTL.

Maintenance employees, who were familiarized with the bus's components during its construction, can in turn provide training to their colleagues.
