the other disposable smart card

RTL single trips at regular fare can be loaded not only onto the rechargeable OPUS card, but also onto the RTL Solo card.

The Solo card, the other smart card, is essentially for occasional RTL riders who don’t want to purchase a rechargeable OPUS card.

The rider can choose to load 6, 12, 18 or 24 RTL trips, at the regular rate only onto a Solo card.  Reduced fare trips can only be loaded onto an OPUS card with picture which is proof that the card owner is entitled to a reduced fare.
