How will my appointment at the metropolitan ticket office be confirmed?
Immediately after making your appointment, you will be sent an email confirming your appointment window. You will also receive a reminder 24 hours before your appointment. Keep an eye on your junk mail! Keep the confirmation: You will need to show it (paper or digital form) to the ticket office representative.
What if I lose or accidentally delete my appointment confirmation?
If you remember the date and time of your appointment, go to the metropolitan ticket office anyways. Otherwise, go back to the portal and make a new appointment.
How can I cancel or change my appointment at the metropolitan ticket office?
Open your appointment confirmation or reminder email. Clink on the link to cancel or change your appointment window.
Can I book an appointment for my child?
Yes! Just enter the child’s information. Make sure your child is with you as the ticket office representative will need to take their photo.
How long is the student OPUS card with photo valid for?
The student OPUS card is valid from November 1 of the current year to October 31 of the following year. The renewal period is from August 1 to October 31.
I lost my OPUS card or it doesn’t work anymore. What should I do?
Go to a metropolitan ticket office to report your OPUS card lost, stolen or broken. On presentation of official photo ID (health insurance card, driver’s licence, passport, Refugee Protection Claimant Document, or permanent resident card), you will be given a new OPUS card loaded with the fares from your old card. You will only have to pay the fee for issuing a new card ($6 for a regular OPUS card and $15 for a reduced-fare OPUS card with photo).
My OPUS card is about to expire but still contains unused fares. How can I retrieve them?
When your OPUS card expires, any unused fares can be refunded or reloaded on a new card (you must have your expired card with you).
