RTL AND THÉÂTRE DE LA VILLE RENEW THEIR ASSOCIATION TO PROMOTE CULTURE IN LONGUEUIL
Longueuil, October 21, 2016 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) and Théâtre de la Ville (TDLV) are very proud to renew their association as part of a partnership that combines culture and public transit. The RTL, official transit provider of numerous cultural events within the Agglomération de Longueuil, is delighted to team up with Théâtre de la Ville, a key player in the cultural scene on the South Shore, for a second consecutive year.
“We are very excited to be renewing our agreement with Théâtre de la Ville! Of course, the goal of the RTL’s unlimited evening fare (Soirée illimitée) is to introduce customers to using public transit outside of peak hours, but also to encourage them to take the bus to the various cultural events held in the Agglomération. Two shows by Théâtre de la Ville will be sponsored by the RTL under the banner “Les Soirées illimitées du RTL.” For your evenings out, do not hesitate to take public transit,” emphasized Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
“We are very happy to be partnering with the RTL, a major South Shore company that invests in promoting culture,” stressed Bernard Grandmont, Chairman of the Théâtre de la Ville Board of Directors. “We will strongly encourage our audiences to take advantage of the Soirées illimitées du RTL to easily get to and from our shows this season.”
The TDLV’s 2016-2017 season promises to be a captivating one, with some 70 performances carefully selected to appeal to all audiences. The performances by Boucar Diouf, on November 3, 2016, and Brigitte Boisjoli, on February 18, 2017, are special presentations of the Soirées illimitées du RTL.
The unlimited evening fare, sold for $4.50, is valid starting at 6 p.m. daily and allows riders unlimited use of the RTL network. You can purchase the unlimited evening fare at the TDLV’s box office, and at the RTL’s 80 points of sale.
