RTL invests in maintaining its assets

Longueuil, March 10, 2016 – At the public meeting of the Board of Directors on March 10, the RTL adopted a by-law to secure a loan for $4 million for the maintenance of its assets.

This amount will cover the maintenance of the fleet of articulated buses, the acquisition or replacement of equipment and fixed assets, such as a service vehicle, jacks, circulator pumps, and garage doors, as well as various technology-related projects.

“This investment will not only ensure the sustainability of our assets, but will also allow us to make certain technological tools available to our clients, namely our improved website. This approach attests to our commitment to offering reliable, quality service by managing our resources responsibly,” stated Colette Éthier, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Note that one-quarter of these investments will be allocated to projects eligible for funding from the Société  de  financement  des  infrastructures  locales  (SOFIL), which will cut the total cost by $775,000.
