ATUQ recognition award
RTL praised for Chrono pilot project
Longueuil, October 23, 2017 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) was delighted to receive a recognition award at the annual Association du transport urbain du Québec (ATUQ) conference last Thursday for its partnership with the RTM on the Chrono project.
“We’re honoured by the recognition for our Chrono project, and we’re proud to have created a technology that will allow our passengers to track their bus trips in real time on the RTL’s territory, not to mention their trips on all other transit networks in the greater metropolitan area. Our team goes to great lengths to ensure our passengers are always satisfied with our services. We wish to thank the RTM team for this valuable partnership,” stated Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
Since August, RTL riders have been able to use the mobile app to more easily plan their trips and access the schedules and routes for all metropolitan transit organizations. With this new information system, RTL users will soon be able to find out in real time when the next bus, train, or metro will arrive at their stop, as well as be alerted to disturbances on the network.
The Chrono app is now available. We encourage you to download it.
