RENDEZ-VOUS DE LA MAIRIE 2017: The RTL will be there!
Longueuil, August 1, 2017 – Once again, Boucherville residents can count on the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) to participate in the Rendez-vous de la Mairie 2017, to be held on August 10.
To mark Boucherville’s 350th anniversary, a concert will be held starring Québec’s preeminent songstress, Ginette Reno, accompanied by tenor Marc Hervieux and musicians from the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil, under the direction of conductor Marc David.
As the official public transit provider for the event, the RTL will offer free shuttle service between the parking lots at the Centre multifonctionnel Francine-Gadbois and École secondaire de Mortagne, and Parc de la Rivière-aux-Pins, where the concert will be held. For the first time this year, residents can get on and off the shuttles at the regular RTL bus stops on boulevard de Montarville, between boulevards Samuel-de-Champlain and de Mortagne.
“The RTL is pleased to play an active role in the key events and various community, cultural, and artistic activities intended for residents of the Agglomération de Longueuil. Thanks to the RTL, those attending the Rendez-vous de la Mairie can enjoy a worry-free and safe event,” declared Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
