RTL TO OFFER FREE RIDES TO 36 HEURES EN ACTION AND MARATHON SSQ PARTICIPANTS

Longueuil, May 15, 2017 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is proud to announce that, for the second consecutive year, it will act as the official transit provider for 36 heures en action, to take place from May 19-21, and for the Marathon SSQ, organized by Ville de Longueuil.

Upon presentation of a coupon, the RTL will provider riders with free bus transportation on lines 20 and 123, between the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro and the Colisée Jean Béliveau, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday and throughout the weekend. On Sunday, May 21, the day of the Marathon SSQ in Longueuil, the RTL will also add departures on line 20 from the Longueuil terminal, as well as provide free shuttle service between the dedicated parking lot at Lowe’s, located at 220 chemin du Tremblay in Boucherville, and the Colisée Jean-Béliveau. Passengers can download the shuttle schedule and the coupon for a free ride at www.rtl-longueuil.qc.ca/36h.

“We’re very pleased to once again be taking part in this event, which aims to promote exercise and healthy lifestyle habits. We encourage people to travel to the events by public transit,” stated Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
