REAL-TIME INFORMATION NOW AVAILABLE FOR USERS

Longueuil, November 15, 2018 - Users of the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) now have access to real-time schedules and bus locations through the Transit and Google Maps apps, which have been integrated into Chrono to track buses in real time.

“Access to real-time information represents a major improvement of the customer experience. Users will now be able to see their bus on a map in order to better plan their travel time. The RTL intends to make increased use of new technologies to ensure an optimal user experience,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.

By the end of 2018, all the RTL’s buses will be equipped with the Chrono location system; currently, nearly 90% of the fleet is visible in real time on the maps in the different apps. Real-time schedules can be consulted when the Wi-Fi symbol is displayed in the app .
