RTL PARTNERS WITH FESTIVAL DES 36 H EN ACTION AND MARATHON SSQ DE LONGUEUIL

Longueuil, May 10, 2018 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is partnering with Ville de Longueuil’s Festival des 36 h en action by offering free service on lines 20 and 123 between 6 p.m. on Friday, May 18 until the last bus on Sunday, May 20, on presentation of a coupon for a free ride.

The Marathon SSQ de Longueuil will be one of many activities taking place as part of the Festival des 36 h en action, which emphasizes sports and healthy lifestyles. To mark the occasion, the RTL will offer shuttle service between the Colisée Jean-Béliveau, the starting line for the event, and the Lowe’s parking lot in the Boucherville industrial park. Service will also be stepped up on line 20 between the Longueuil terminal and the Colisée Jean-Béliveau stop between 5:55 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.

“For the third consecutive year, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil is proud to transport runners and festival-goers to and from these family events. Last year, more than 1,250 participants used our services for the marathon, and we’re convinced this activity will be just as successful this year,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
