Know exactly when the next bus will arrive!

Longueuil, July 15, 2019 - The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is making a new feature available in the Chrono mobile app. Thanks to an artificial intelligence system developed by exo, users can now see exactly when the next bus will arrive, in real time.

“Improving the user experience is a top priority for us, which is why we’re pleased to introduce this new feature in Chrono,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors. “Our users now have access to more accurate information, allowing them to better plan their trips.”

The Chrono app now shows the exact arrival time of the next bus on most bus lines and will be rolled out gradually for the rest of the fleet. To see the arrival time of the next bus in real time, simply select your bus line and stop in Chrono. Remember that the mobile app already lets public transit users see the location of their bus on the map in real time.

The real-time arrival time is indicated by the icon below.

The Chrono app is a metropolitan solution of the Agence régionale de transport métropolitaine, developed in collaboration with its partners, which allows users to consult the schedules, plan a public transit trip, and receive personalized notifications about service status, all in real time. For more information about the Chrono app, visit https://www.rtl-longueuil.qc.ca/en-CA/services/chrono/.
