RTL PARTNERS WITH FESTIVAL BESIDE
Longueuil, June 7, 2019 - Festival BESIDE, a celebration of nature and culture, will take place from June 14 to 16 at Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville. As the event’s official transit provider, the RTL will provide shuttles from the Longueuil metro and from the Radisson metro in Montréal.
“We love the idea of this festival, which encourages participants to reconnect with nature through a number of different workshops and conferences. Protecting the environment is a top priority for us. We strive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a daily basis, which is why we encourage you to use public transit to get to and from the event,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
Shuttles will transport festival goers back and forth from the Longueuil and Radisson metro stations to the entrance of Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville. Hours of operation are Friday, June 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, June 16, from 8 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.; shuttles will run continuously throughout the entire event. Service will be stepped up considerably on the Bus des Îles line for quick access to the site.
