RTL PARTNERS WITH MARATHON SSQ ASSURANCE DE LONGUEUIL

Longueuil, May 13, 2019 - For the fourth consecutive year, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) will partner with the Marathon SSQ Assurance de Longueuil, to take place on May 18 and 19 in Longueuil.

Thousands of participants of all levels and from all over Québec are expected for the two days of activities. The races will be staggered over the Saturday and Sunday and will all start from Colisée Jean-Béliveau.

“We are pleased to partner with this event, which encourages community members to get active and adopt healthier lifestyle habits. We strongly recommend that you take public transit—an environmentally friendly and affordable option—to get to and from the Marathon,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.

The RTL offers a free shuttle service for runners, with departures from the Lowe’s parking lot in Boucherville to the Colisée Jean-Béliveau. More buses will also be added on line 20 from the Longueuil metro station, which users can ride for free to the race site on presentation of a free ride coupon.

The Marathon is just one of many activities that make up the Courses en fête event. For the complete program, visit Ville de Longueuil’s website.
