RTL PARTNERS WITH RIDE OF SILENCE
Longueuil, May 1, 2019 - For the ninth consecutive year, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) will partner with the South Shore Ride of Silence, which will take place in Longueuil on May 15.
During this event, which raises awareness about road safety and sharing the road, cyclists ride in silence to commemorate those killed or injured while riding on public roads.
“Road safety is one of the RTL’s priorities. Our drivers operate on city streets and are aware of the importance of sharing the road with other users. Naturally, the RTL feels a deep connection with this event and is proud to acts as partner,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
The Ride of Silence will begin at 6:45 p.m. on May 15 from Longueuil’s city hall. For more information, visit the Ride of Silence website.
