RTL TO SERVE AS OFFICIAL TRANSIT PROVIDER FOR FÊTE NATIONALE DU QUÉBEC IN LONGUEUIL
Longueuil, June 19, 2019 - Fête nationale du Québec festivities will take place on June 24 at Parc Michel-Chartrand. The RTL is partnering with Ville de Longueuil to facilitate access to the site by offering a shuttle service and free rides on certain lines.
Under the theme “Un monde de traditions” (A world of traditions), the celebrations will feature several family-friendly activities and musical performances, including one by Mes Aïeux to close out the evening.
“As the official transit provider, we are proud to offer the citizens of the Agglomération a quick and convenient way to get to the event and a safe ride home after the party,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors. “We wish everyone a wonderful Fête nationale!”
A free shuttle will transport party goers between the parking lot at École André-Laurendeau in Saint-Hubert and Parc Michel-Chartrand between 5 p.m. and midnight. Citizens can also ride lines 10, 17 and 71 for free on presentation of a free-ride coupon. Service will also be enhanced on these lines.
