COVID-19 – Adjustments to the RTL’s reduced schedule

Longueuil, April 1, 2020 – Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) began operating on a reduced schedule on Monday, at the request of the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) and in agreement with the other transit corporations in the metropolitan area. This measure was taken in response to users’ changing needs and with a view to continuing to transport providers of essential services. The RTL will make the adjustments needed to respect physical distancing in buses.

“We are monitoring the situation closely. We’re considering all the feedback received from our users in the past few days, and we have a clear picture of their needs. We are continuously adjusting our service and encourage you to follow our public notices, social media outlets, and website for daily updates. Our priority is to serve our users who need to get to work to provide essential services,” said Michel Veilleux, Executive Director of the RTL.

You can check the public notices on our website regularly. We also have a dedicated web page for the measures taken by the RTL in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
