SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS STARTING OCTOBER 13

Longueuil, October 9, 2020 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) wishes to inform users that adjustments will be made to certain lines after the Thanksgiving holiday, starting on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

More buses will be added to lines 29, 74, 90 and 99 during rush hour, and shared taxi line T-94 will be reinstated.

“Since the start of the pandemic, we’ve been using ridership measurements to keep close track of our users’ changing needs in response to the reopening in certain sectors; we’ve also been attuned to the needs of our drivers and network supervisors, as well as demand from users,” stated Jonathan Tabarah, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors. “We’re making these adjustments in order to better serve our users. We will continue to monitor the situation. Other analyses are ongoing for different sectors of the Agglomération, and other changes could be made shortly in keeping with our financial capacities and available resources.”

Note that changes were made to line 90 at the beginning of the month, and buses were added to several lines as needed. Also note that the RTL à la demande service is still available.

For the new schedules for lines 29, 74, 90, 99 and T-94, consult our public notices at www.rtl-longueuil.qc.ca/en-CA/news/public-notice/.
