Taking the bus is so much easier!

Longueuil, November 1, 2021 – In keeping with the transit habits of South Shore residents, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is continuing to fine-tune its services to meet the needs of users this fall. In the weeks after classes resumed, ridership increased 65% compared to last spring—a sign that residents of the Agglomération de Longueuil are gradually finding their way back to public transit.

Since September, several changes have been made to the network to make travel easier, especially for students. The RTL also revised its service hours on several lines to better reflect the new realities of hybrid travel and the return of students to the network. New lines have also been introduced, such as the Express 442—with a limited number of stops—to speed up certain trips.

In keeping with its plan to continue improving services in response to the needs of its users, the RTL is resuming service, effective immediately, on line 9 in the Vieux-Longueuil and Saint-Hubert sectors, after multiple requests from users. Changes have also been made to the schedules for lines 22, 25, 28, 49, 61, 76, and 93, to the shared taxi lines T89, T92, T93, and to the integrated school lines 671 and 683.

The RTL encourages its users to consult the maps and schedules for all its lines using the search tool on its website, or the Chrono, Google, or Transit apps. Please also note that paratransit users can always rely on the usual service. They can book their trip by calling 450-670-2992.
