A new universally accessible taxi on trial
You have probably noticed recently a white van used for paratransit transportation
It is the MV-1, the very first universally accessible taxi tested in Québec.
The primary purpose of the MV-1 vehicle is to specifically address the particular needs of customers with reduced mobility.
MV-1 vehicles are presently tested by a few taxi drivers in Montréal, Longueuil and Laval. The main purpose of this pilot project is to evaluate the vehicle to determine whether it answers the needs of the customers as well as of the drivers.
